This Afternoon Dessert Break is at True Confections and features 3 of my favorite things-peanut butter, chocolate and cheesecake.  True Confections makes a variety of great cheesecakes that rival’s any other place in Vancouver.  They make a super rich, dense cheesecake that is a meal in its self a lot of times and is sure to satisfy your craving for this delicious dessert from the gods.  In this case my dessert break involved their Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake.  With a chocolate base that is semi sweet you get your main chocolate fix, then above that they have put a thicker peanut butter layer, it’s like a not so sweet peanut butter cup filling taste then a fudge drizzle reinforces that chocolate flavor.  They really have perfected the right balance of peanut butter and chocolate with this dessert.
