This Afternoon Dessert Break takes place at Ganache Patisserie in Yaletown.  This place is located across the street from Between Two Buns on Homer street and a couple blocks from DD Mau so it’s a great spot to stop in for a killer dessert.

The dessert case is loaded with all different treats and whole cakes for you to choose from.

I went with something light and refreshing since I had a heavy lunch, the Citron Mandarine for $5.75.

The dessert starts with a thin cake layer on the bottom then a light and airy mousse filled the middle and bulk of the dessert, it also had some mandarin orange inside as well then it was capped off with a thin layer of orange jelly like coating that had a nice tartness to it.  When you got a bit of everything in one bite it was delicious.

If you’re looking for a sweet interlude to your afternoon in Yaletown I’d put Ganche on your list for a sweet treat.
